How did you come about doing this kind of art?

 

I like to recycle old wood into art objects. My father was a design engineer and artist and tried to get me to follow in his footsteps by bringing home a drafting board and easel. I took lessons in oil painting but found that was not the medium that I enjoyed working in. I love to create one of a kind art objects that are unique and working with wood (recycling downed branches/trees) provides that creative outlet.

Wood is always purchased in late Fall once a year. 2017 is all Cedar Wood with your choice of metal art interests.
